Inviting monks for blessing guidlines
In Thai Buddhism when lay people want to invite the monks to their place for blessing, they should follow these guidelines:
- Find out how many monks can sit, our advice is that 3 monks are enough
- Prepare table(s) and chairs for monks to face East. Direction is not neccessary but is important *_*)
- repare altar table for decorating with Buddha statue, candles and incense. If you don't have they will prepare for you.
- Prepare drinks like water or tea.
- Prepare lunch for them because they don't eat after 12.00 noon, lunch is their last meal of the day.
In Buddhism there are three ways for making Bunya
